The first day I hiked around Jenny Lake with some friends. The ranger said there was 1 to 2 feet of new snow at 10,000 feet. My trip to Wind River Mountains seemed doubtful.

The divide may be where we went the next day, to Hidden Falls and Cascade Canyon.
