This is a scene from my neighborhood forest. The dark trunks of the hemlock wood in the foreground created what to me looked like a stained glass effect against the bright yellow maple wood in the background. I saw these scene every day for a couple of days and tried to photograph the glow from the background maples from a couple of different angles and in a variety of lighting conditions. This was my favorite photo.
