Stinkhorn

As you would imagine from the name the Stinkhorn gives off an aroma very similar to rotting flesh. This attracts the flies which then distribute the spores far and wide. This very 'fresh' stinkhorn was getting lots of attention, not just from me and the camera.

Excellent shot. I have never seen one with flies. Well done.
