A young cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo sinensis) enjoys the late evening sun, floating in a small tarn in the forest.
Originally being a marine species that's highly adapted to saltwater, this is not an optimal habitat for this bird,
but nonetheless this species has propagated to freshwater locations throughout interior SE Norway, over the course of the last 3 decades.
