It's starting to look - and feel - a lot like autumn. We've had lots of crisp bright
sunny days, misting mornings and dramatic sunsets. Now though, there's a
real sense of the colder darker days creeping in - tonight it's wet and windy.
It's time to get out the winter woolies, light the fire, and pick up a good book.
Just a quick snap as I went past Ballymascanlon village on my lunch break and, if
truth be told, I posted something very similar last year.
Got to chat with the Oscar winning actress Brenda Fricker at a press conference
to launch Dundalk's Tain Art Festival this evening. She was very approachable
and, formalities aside, we talked about dogs as she has a Border Collie.
