COINCIDENCE?? or FAIT??

Along Route 66

Talk about a coincidence. I came across this old 1953 Winnebago travel trailer
at the Standard Oil Service Station on Route 66. I jsut ordered a 14 foot Sportsman Classic 14RB
trailer and my first trip with it will be along Route 66.

I will be starting a separate gallery in the Spring when I start my trip ... probably late March 2011.

I know from our 5th wheel trailer they are not built to last almost 60 years. We took care of ours and it was under full five year warranty but I have to tell you after year one we needed to have things fixed and replaced.

Karen ... We'll see how long mine will last. Somehow I don't think the new ones are build with the same quality. I have some pictures of the inside that shows the original fridge and stove with an oven. Really neat!!
