Past the moments of Her tears,
past reveries of distant gods and masters,
anxious to return to prairie temple,
She rises up to revel in the day,
knowing that once lost, it will not pass again,
Knowing that too soon the Summer shall be stolen,
into the depths of Demeter and daughter, Queen Persephone.
