Sea lion hauled out near Kirby Cove.
Most of us saw no sign of life from this guy, and we planned
to call the Marine Mammal Center about him, but he was no
longer here when we passed by again on the way back.
We often see harbor seals on these rocks, but it's unusual to
see a sea lion. I think this one was a young Steller's, also a
rarity around here.
