These are exquisite and make me think of velvet ... orchid shots always interest me. They're the most artistic flowers in all of Nature, I believe.

Isn't it wonderful how Nature comes up with an endless supply of designs and combinations - things that we'd never think of on our own but then emulate for the ages. The simple elegance of the black background works wonders for this image. --Stefan
