The channel to the right center comes up through the mangroves. On the very horizon, just right of central, you can just make out flat islands, atolls that have beautiful white beaches of corral. We are on a bluff approximately 300 feet in elevation. There are no white beaches on Pohnpei as the coast is a mangrove supported ecosystem.
