One of the pleasures of a long drive (if one has to make a long drive!) is driving the back roads in Ontario. During my 8 hour drive to Stratford, Ontario, I took as many back roads as I could. They are quiet (few cars) and go through some gorgeous landscape. All sorts of interesting things can be found, such as fields full of horses, llamas, goats. Old buildings, farms and homesteads. And if one is lucky, interesting wildlife too.
