The lower Colliery Dam was recently filled with 700 Rainbow Trout
so there were several fishermen hoping to take a few home for
dinner. The Heron was following their activity closely. When
this chap was close to bringing a fish in, the Heron moved over
beside him and had his mouth wide open, hoping to capture the Trout.
Unfortunately I had just put my camera away so I missed the best shot!!
