Dark Morphed Ferruginous Hawk

Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Open field just right of route 40 heading into Steamboat Springs from the East.
This is an uncropped full image uploaded to show what digiscoping can do for you.
Next two images are the same raptor using my Leica DigiScoping equipment.
Originally thought to be an immature Bald Eagle; Raymond De Smet believes this is a hawk; not sure which species of hawk, but I agree with Raymond. I'm going with a Dark Morph Ferruginous Hawk.
