Target: IC 405 - The Flaming Star Nebula (HaRGB/QHY9)
Imaging Scope: Astro-Tech 8" Imaging Newtonian w/Baader Coma Corrector @ prime focus
Mount: Orion Atlas EQ-G (EQMOD)
Imager: QHY9M @ -20C below ambient
Guiding: 2 second guide exposures using a SSAG through a Stellarvue SV66ED
Software: acquisition - MaxIm DL 5, post processing - CCDSoft, & Adobe Photoshop
Exposure Information: L/Ha = 18 x 5 minutes (Baader 7nm Ha filter) RGB = 1 X 5 (Orion RGB), Binned at 2x2. Darks and flats applied.
Comments: Beautiful skies. Good transparency and seeing. Should have pushed the imager to -40. Worked on the proper spacing for my coma corrector. I did a Photoshop laying technique to get rid of the bluish stars, etc.
