Eeeek!! That's the second time that the car alarm/locker/key fob battery has expired...and both times I'd just unlocked the car! A close shave if ever there was one...

Luckily, I have a spare fob thing, so all is well until the replacement battery arrives (I've bulk-ordered a batch so I can't get caught out again!!)
