Normally I wouldn't be able to get this close to such a bird. This Worm-eating Warbler had just flown into our picture window and it was stunned. (The loud thump got my attention.) At first the bird was on its back just twitching. By the time I got the camera ready it was sitting up but with its eyes mostly closed. When this photo was taken it was starting to come around to its senses. It wasn't long thereafter it was able to fly away.
