Citrus flatid planthhopper (Metcalfa pruinosa)

How ironical! I spent a good many hours over the last few weeks looking for a planthopper to photograph. It is not that they are uncommon, but that they are really tough to see as they are small and when on twigs, blend in with the bark. However, yesterday, I got back to my car after a hike and what should I see climbing along the roof, but a planthopper! Don't come to us, we'll come to you!
