Cygnus the Swan

I spent many hours outside at night looking at the stars and planets when I was in
junior high and high school. I made a 6" reflecting telescope for a science project.

It just seems like we all take the night sky for granted sometimes, myself included.

Lately I have been drawn to try to photograph parts of the night sky which I have rarely done since going digital.

The Milky Way is just visible in this image of the constellation Cygnus.

The bright star towards the top is part of the constellation Lyra
