Philco TH-5I

This Philco was a very cheap purchase. As bought it was in really beautiful, shiny shape. But during someone else's ownership it turned into a heart-breaker after being dropped. Thankfully, the prior owner saved all the broken bits. The front right corner was smashed and so it was bought in that condition. Time, Patience, Glue, Bondo, Sanding more Bondo & Sanding then Painting. I think it came out pretty good considering it was bashed. So I turned this TH-5 into a TH-5I. Philco made the TH-5 and TH-5I in 1940. It's a nice radio because it has an internal antenna wound around two wooden stretchers. Installed new grill fabric and dial cover. The radio works but the chassis has not been restored.
