After three nights in the backcountry, hot showers were definitely in order. We then spent some time walking around the attractive Red Lodge business district, eating a good meal at Bogart's, and treating Norah to another visit to the Montana Candy Emporium (forget beautiful alpine lakes and dramatic mountains, this was one of her highlights of our trip). The Red Lodge Inn owners informed us that there were free wagon rides in the evenings. We flagged down the wagon across from the motel and Norah loved the leisurely ride through Red Lodge.
