Rudolph Kruger Home, 1888
Nicholas J. Clayton designed this handsomely proportioned home for a restauranteur, Rudolph Kruger.
It is still being repaired after suffering flood damage from Hurricane Ike in 2008. Unfortunately, the wonderful
live oak trees that surrounded the home were killed by the salt water flood. Here is a photo of the house when the trees were still there.
Big difference!
