Luckily, this bird reacted very strongly to Alder playback, including doing some 'pip'ing of its own,as Alder was my initial guess when seeing this bird. It generally stayed out around some brushpiles in a big weedy field (same field Mark had the Inca Dove), but came into this tree to investigate the playback I did. The strong early morning Sun is browning the bird just a bit more than it looked in the field.
