Picture being in a building with more than 40,000 people - watching an event. The event is being televised and broadcast on radio. Those attending are yelling, screaming, stomping,
booing, gasping, and groaning - as appropriate to the fortunes and follies of eighteen men performing before them..

You have the means to view all of this but, instead find yourself locked onto the screen of a personal computer - to gather data about similar events happening in like venues around the nation.

You then dash about with giant numbers to slide them into slots - so that those 40,000 attendees might know what is happening in those distant places.
