Shiloh in Black and White

Shiloh,TN

One of my favorite sites to shoot, the back entry to the Shiloh Battlefield. Fortunately, the summer, though still not waning, is cooling slightly, and the slightly cooler nights produce great mist and fog. As you many not know, the battle at Shiloh was, for generations called "Pittsburg Landing" for the crossing on the Tennessee. The site is about 2 miles from the river.

You have so much material to work with at Shiloh, but you really know how to capture it. The back-lighting and fog are wonderful!

Looks like a bit of a photographers playground in this light. Nicely done.
