On the weekend I saw a black chipmunk without a patch on its forehead (see the earlier photo for one with the patch....maybe it lost some hair at the time). I mention this because someone said there are 2 of them there. I dismissed it at first given how rare a black one is to begin with. Now I'm not so sure. I have yet to see 2 at the same time.

It's really adorable. Sad that the other chipmunks give it a hard time. I would hope that it would help create some interesting hybrids.
