This is a large, and wonderful book store, indeed. It was built as a theater many years ago. Looking up from the check-out area, you realize that you're on the stage. It's truly amazing. It's the Colfax Ave. "Tattered Cover Book Store" in Denver.
I don't usually photograph bathrooms :) But these whiz-o-matics caught my eye. Very different from what one normally sees. Luckily, I was able to get a couple of shots before anyone else came in. I suspect having a camera out in the men's room might raise an eyebrow!
There is an amazing collection of portraits of various authors adorning the walls of two staircases. These I gather the photos were taken while the authors were there for book signings. They're all by the same photographer, and they're all quite good! So there's something of a photography feel to the place. JimH.
