Goodbye Fridge~
This is one of my stupid shots where I spent 30 minutes taking - it involves an off camera flash as remote and using my Leica in the studio flash mode (it was the main). Several test shots later I was ready for my uncooperative models.
So why did I do this?
After 14 years, my fridge is being replaced with a new stainless steel model. Hence, no more photos on my fridge - unless I use tape. You are probably saying I hate the clutter look. This will probably give a interior decorator a coronary.
But, I like it. Each object on that fridge documents a part of my life - My Cafe Nero Loyalty card from London, a ticket to Westminster Abby, family pictures, Java as puppy shot, a magnet from the Guiness factory, a copy of article from New York Times in which I am quoted, and the obituary of Betty Gibson, one of my Mom's best friend in the nursing home who died about a year prior to her death.
So it is death of fridge.. 14 year of service. A blank piece of canvas where 14 years of my life has accumulated.
Goodbye..
And yes, Moki caught the odd shape doggie treat.
