Nebula around Gamma Cygni. Taken with an Ha filter during a bright moonlite night. Just to the right of Gamma is a dark nebula, LDN 889. Gamma is a relatively bright star at magnitude 2.2. It is the anchor star in Cygnus marking the connection of the wings and the body of the swan. It is in the main belt of the Milky Way, so there are many back ground stars. In the bottom right quadrant is open star cluster NGC6910. The Butterfly nebula is out of the frame to the lower right.

I was planning to get at least 1 more hour in on this, but high clouds and fog sent me home at 3am.
