The lyrebird is a superb mimic of all it hears...this art mimics it's amazing display of tail feathers
Take a look at this video of one in the Adelaide Zoo
mimicking the sounds of construction work going on around him.
It also imitates other birds close by, including the Kookaburra.

In the beginning of this year I saw in the Tara Bulga National park for the first time in my life a lyrebird. Wow, it was to quick to take any pictures or I was to slow... A great bird!! wonderful interpretation Laine of the Lyrebird V
