Today I made a 50+ mile journey on the Schuylkill River Trail.
I started at the Betzwood Bridge parking lot near Valley Forge National Park,
rode into Manayunk, rode up "The Wall", and continued into Center City Philadelphia.
On my way back, I rode the Wissahickon Trail into Chestnut Hill
and took some streets & roads back to the SRT finishing at the Betzwood Bridge.
What a great ride - What a great trail system!

"The Wall" is the infamous climb the professional riders ride up 15 times during
the U.S. Pro Championship race each June. I must admit, though, only .4 mile long,
it's a steep climb. My hybrid bike is lower geared and I actually made it up in my middle gear.
However, I only climbed it once, not 15 times!
