Snow banana plant (Ensete glaucum)
Purportedly no more hardy than other banana species. It reminded me of Indian Pipe (Monotropa uniflora), the native Virginia species that lacks Chlorophyll, but it is about 3 metres (10 feet) tall and definately green.
