Great spangled fritillary, but oh so tattered

fritillary 2E1Z9784.jpg

Feeding on Knautia, otherwise known as field scabious.

For the record Knautia is pretty, and pollinators, bees and wasps especially, love it, but I have read that it can be invasive. I read that only after I planted it.
