This is my "Photo of the Week" for the week ending 19th August 2010.
Chosen because of the sharpness of the image and composition. We were attracted to the colours which resemble those of the Kingfisher which is obviously a much more photogenic subject.
Compare the colours on this really common fly.......... the same shades as a Kingfisher!
