Saturday, we took my sister to the Civil War Weekend up at Ft Klamath, OR. For three days the reenactors portray life in the 1860's by showing all of us the way of life for folks of the period.
This is a jail cell from Ft. Klamath era 1863 (although the mattress looks pretty modern!)
Song is "How Can I Keep From Singing?" by Eva Cassady - one story is that the song was written from a jail cell by a minister in 1860.
