Tumbling Creek

I decided to take the afternoon and travel Forest Service Road 22 which starts in Fannin County (Blue Ridge Georgia)and ends as Grassy Creek Road near Copperhill/Ducktown Tennessee. The 10 mile road climbs several mountains and is a single track road with pull-outs every so often. Tumbling creek flows into Tennessee where it meets the Ocoee River. The last time I was in the area the rocks were covered with with water because we had so much rain. Now we have had less than 4" in the past 70 days and the creek has dropped to a trickle. Still a beautiful ride and much cooler on top of the mountains (75 when I was here, 88 in Blue Ridge) than the valley where Blue Ridge is located.
