Most of my recent PAD shots have been a little on the dark side; mono shots, night shots, underground shots.
I felt an inclination to go somewhere that I haven't been before, and to get a sunrise shot. Clovelly was the place, and this is the shot that I was after. (Actually I had one or two where the light on the clouds was even better than this, but I preferred this one because of the presence of the seagull.)
As it turned out, I haven't used if for my PAD shot but that was only because serendipity delivered me something even more outside my usual comfort space.
