This photo shows why LT Jaegers are among my very favorite birds. And on this day (8/6/10), they were not only plentiful, but in their best of form. One stole a fish from a Western Gull; several circled the boat numerous times, and, perhaps best of all, one of them relentlessly attacked a South Polar Skua. Pretty, yes, but with an equal amount of personality and chutzpah.
