As we were backing up, we noticed a very short path onto the lake. We took the side path and stood in the lake hoping the bear would continue on his original path and not decide to go fishing for humans that morning! This shot was taken as we stood in the freezing lake watching to see if he'd continue on his way. He did continue on up the trail and finally took off into the woods. Certainly convinced me to stay on busy trails and not go off alone!
