This was our first day in Olympic National Park. We decided to have a trip to Hurricane Ridge. The weather was great. There is a nice trail that goes up to Hurricane Hill where there is a stunning 360 degree panorama of the National Park. We hiked up there. It was a little tough because there was a lot of uphill (which you would expect from hiking to a hill). The reward for the effort was great. Here we are sitting up there. Very cool.
Wingy - the temperature was in the upper 60s. The nice sun helped a lot. On the coast at Astoria, there isn't much sun and it is in the 50s alot of the time. Larry - thanks!
Looks so amazing!! What was the temperature up there? You look very comfortable without a jacket, and in most of the pics you posted on this trip, you were wearing one!
