This and the next 4 are shots of the same candle stick cactus that flowers very rarely. First night flash shots as it first bloomed and then dayligh shots the following morning. It flowers at night and dies in the morning, just like in a fairy tale. Must be closely watched to catch the flowering.

For some unknown reason the camera is listed as a Canon powershot 890 while its in fact a 970, the daylight shots are taken with the D200 and the 105 macro.
