A fire burned this dock
and the white building on the right
down today.
That's the Menemsha Coast Guard Station...
The dock was relatively new too...
the other side of the dock was lined with boats
and little fishing shacks that also caught on fire.

Total bummer. That is a beautiful dock. Sad that it was so new, too. I wonder what caused the fire. I have wanted to get a dock like that built out in my little pond. Are docks built my specialized dock builders, or are they built by pretty much anyone that does woodwork?http://abbottsconstruction.com/Our-Services

After reading the article, I think it could have been much worse with many gas explosions.
