This trim is resin. I am not using this piece, I just bought it for a color example. I don't want to spend the money for these breakable resin trims, so Jim will make trim for the island edges out of maple and I will paint them this color. Then they will protect the porcelain tile edges, add a decorative element, and not break when you clobber them with the side of a chair.
