| Typhoon Pamela was an interesting storm. She started in September of 1982, around Kwajalein, which is pretty far east for typhoons to form. After a few days of being a full-fledged typhoon, she lost strength and was downgraded to a tropical storm. Then she regained her strength and became a typhoon again, only to be downgraded to tropical storm status after a day or so. As she approached the coast of the Philippines, Pamela became a typhoon for the third time in her life. Talk about not being able to make up your mind!
