My daughter's new kitten, KC (for Kitty Cat). We picked her up from a farm around the corner from where we were camping. We spent almost two years searching for a kitten at shelters, classifieds, petsearch.com, etc only to find one on the way to the grocery store due to a sign that said "Free Kittens". This kitten will be anything but free though.
The girls constructed this cage for the kitten in Kala's room. We don't want the kitten to roam free around the house yet until we've gotten a vet appointment. We have another cat and our dog and don't want to mix anything up here. Also, this is a small kitten and she keeps hiding in very small places. This wire cage was constructed from this metal shelving unit that is constructed entirely of these square grids. It even has a top to it so she can't climb out (which she can do). There is a towel floor and a brand new litter box inside for her. I have engineer children. Very creative here.
I have also finally caught up from this weekend with my PaD now.
