Yikes! This is a terrific capture of a species I find really difficult to bring down for a good angle. Wonderful exposure and sharp details and he seems so pleased to have you take his picture!

excellent portrayal of this lively denizen of BCs forests. I remember being up Grouse Mtn years ago with the children, and these nutcrackers were eating seed right out of people's hands. They are sympathetic and quite sharp too...V
