Cologne (Koln to the Germans) has been settled for centuries - a very important city on the Rhine. Here stands a roman arch with the initials for Cologne - CAAAA. This stands in it's approximate location in front of the Dom (Cathedral). Early morning light provides a nice highlight to the view of the old cathedral through the ancient entry to the city.
