VRE's First New Loco

Broad Run, VA

Virginia Railway Express took delivery of their first new locomotive on Monday, June 28, 2010. The unit is a MP36PH-3C built by Motive Power of Boise Idaho. VRE hopes to press the new units into service ASAP to replace ailing F40's, RP-39's and GP40's currently in use.
