Marwan - what amazed me was that the Sphinx appeared smaller than I anticipated - (and it is still pretty big and impressive) The other issue I realised was that all the TV etc you see of the pyramids and the Sphinx are very well filmed - there are tar roads running beside them etc - things you never see on TV. And the Sphinx is actually buried and being excavated so if you still havent descended into the excavations around it you are able to take shots like these.. Thank you for commenting.
