18th - Bored...

Cheltenham, Glos....or is it Cape Town SA?

I don't know why I watch footie - I always think that the next game is going to be really exciting and edge-of-seat stuff, but it never is. I get bored after about two minutes and inevitably wander off and do something else instead....like the ironing or washing up or watching the hamster sleep. And this is all the more so not being of England born - I'm not quite an ABE and would be pleased if Ingerlund could actually put on an entertaining display on the pitch during this World Cup...but this offering tonight is just garbage!

Now, where's the remote?

I am still furious at that garbage last night! That bunch of odious, pampered, overpaid tossers should be forced to walk home if they fail to get out of their group. They've humiliated a football-loving nation on a global stage. Grrrr....

The results said it all.

LOL! I don't even watch it!

it seems the telly sits in the fireplace...surely you were not that disappointed..after all there is a second team sitting on the bench...8 or 9 changes and England will come good..

I couldn't agree more - terrible game, they ran rings round us lot.
I thought that last 'free kick' for them was curtains for us.

Have to agree Doug...this was the first world cup match I have watched....and wished I hadn't bothered...I only persevered as they seem to have found a way to control the volume of these vusuvela thingies! Anyway...2nd test tomorrow of the Scots in Argentina....now that will be a bit exciting after last Saturday!!!

I had to watch, I was convinced Algeria would score and it was going to be all over for us. But it was not a good use of 90min, no beer in the house either.

I was tempted to go and cut grass - but endured, wish I had not bothered!

I watched the second half and came to the conclusion that they must have been drugged! None of them looked like they knew what day it was.

At least you have a brewski and the result was better than the Germany match.

You have Cluedo - sorted :o)

The dog ate the remote!
