20100616 - Moving Targets

Grrr - they know exactly what they're doing! You set your flash up, persuade one of them to sort of stay still for you, hoping that where it decides to stay still is roughly where you pointed the flash... meanwhile, you try to get horsey and sunset in the right place - but horsey mates sneak round the back and knock your flash gun over! If they're not doing that they're having a good ol chew at your rucksack. Finally you think you've just about got it all sorted and the batteries in your flash decide they've had enough!!!
It's all just a game to them. Well, I took my ball home - that'll learn 'em. Hmph.

I can hear them now . . . "We kept knocking over his flash gun, moving around in his shot, and chewing at his rucksack. It took him forever to learn, but thank goodness he finally went home! That'll teach him!"

I can imagine the frustration. Nice colours, a good result even if it wasn't what you wanted.

Amid the chaos, you got a stunning shot. One that I wished that I took. Well done!

You can lead a horse to the camera but you cannot make it obey!
Cute shot Phil! :)
